So, earlier today Obama officially announced his v.p. running mate: Joe Biden. As both Barack and Biden repeatedly said throughout their speeches, they both grew up blue collar, with adversity staring them down. Now, Politicians have said those types of things for years upon years. But this time, I believe it. I think this is a good choice for Obama: Biden has decades of experience, he’s strong on Foreign Policy, they have worked together before, and frankly…He’s an Old white guy, and that’s the vote that Obama hasn’t been getting. I hope these two, together can make America mean what it’s supposed to be, and this speech shows us, that it is not too far fetched.

On a sadder Note: Our prayers go out to Monica Paul and her Children. Ms. Paul was shot in the head 3 times at the Montclair YMCA in our town. The shooter is still on the loose, but the police know who he is. This reminds us that horrible things can happen anywhere. Stay Safe.
