(Left To Right) Bun B, Wale, 9th Wonder
We had nothing to do on Monday, so we began searching for a show or something in DC. And what do we stumble upon, a FREE show, all ages. I was buggin out again!
So we get there hella early, and wait on line (By the way it’s at a Stussy Store in DC) in the cold. As 6 o’clock approaches a guy comes out asking for ID (We are first in Line). My heart dropped, I was about to go crazy, but then he just wrote an X on my hand and we were straight. We walk in and we’re posted up at the front counter and the guy on the 1′s and 2′s is pretty good, so I turned to my friend and say “This guys a pretty good DJ”.
Soon we see Bun B walk through the front door and right by, and in 10 minutes we see Wale in an Ice Cream Hoodie roll through. And climb behind the counter. Soon enough the DJ starts blasting some bangers, and gets some heads bobbing. Eventully since no one is performing people start giving in stuff to sign. We see the Dj sign something,, and it says 9th wonder! At this point I get really mad, because I have been standing 1 foot from this head and not noticed at all. Anyways…People submit more and more, but I dont have shit to get signed, so I reach into my pockets and I find my metro ticket (YERP). Bun B signs it, and so does 9th Wonder. I dap 9th wonder, and later shake Bun’s hand. But then for some reason Wale dips, and So do we, seeing that there is no performing happening tonight.
We go out and fin something to eat, and decide to go back and see what’s up. I go up to the Window at Stussy’s and I look right next to me and Bun B is cooling right there. Apparently he remembered me and Daps me (I didn’t dap him, he dapped me) and we have a few minute conversation, and ask him when he’s comin to Jersey. He said “I wish I could get booked in Jersey”, (Someone…get on that). And I dap him get a picture, and he tells me to be safe. So we didn’t get to see a show, but I got to meet some cool people, Especially Bun who was a really nice guy.
So now it’s about 11:30 and we’re getting ready for the Innaguration, You souped?!?!?!?…I am! Look for me on tv son….

This time they got M.I.A., Santogold, Spank Rock, and Nick Zinner. My jaw dropped along with the beat, this shit is DIRTY. I told you to look out for them, watch for their album “The Spirit of Apollo” dropping on Feb. 17th. Sorry, the track is a little dirty.
“Whacha Doin?” – N.A.S.A ft. M.I.A., Santogold, Spank Rock, and Nick Zinner

Also Young Chris throws down a go-go beat, kills it… and rightfully so puts Wale on the track.
“Searching” – Young Chris ft. Wale

The entire set of Wale’s live Performance at the Highline was recorded with amazing quality and put together in a zip file…Here it is!

First, the Wale join off the new 10 deep mixtape “The New Deal”, Which might I add is packed with new hot music, definetely download it. The Wale song “Pot of Gold” Featuring Daniel Merriweather (who I ignored after a good call by the brother) who lays down a smooth chorus over Mark Ronson’s beat that reminds me of a local producer (and Homie) “Thelonious”. This is the most musically advanced song in my opinion that Wale has done in a while, so check it out.
On the Subject of Wale, I really am destroyed that I wasn’t at the show at the Highline last night…damn, he pulled out Young Chris, Chrisette Michelle, Pusha T, Freeway, and Ryan Leslie…Not to mention an opening act of Colin Munroe and Kid Cudi (Who Brought out Jim Jones by the way). I can’t continue on this subject mannn.
lets go! I’m not gonna lie, I kind of forgot about this song, but this video is fire.

Green Lantern put out this mixtape with the help of Russell Simmons. Once you get about 15 minutes in, this shit is actually straight fire. A combination of Adam Levine, Wale, Kanye, Jay-z, Busta Rhymes, Rhymefest and many many more. DOwnload this and vote on Nov. fourth. I just signed up for a trip to help get Penn. on our side. Onsmash deleted the link, so there isn’t a full mixtape until they cut up the different tracks. But otherwise, download this one hot one with Wale, Rhymefest, and others “Black President pt.2″
On a sadder note, a friend of Hypekillaz was victim of an aneurysm or Hemmorage of the brain, he is ina coma and in critical condition. He is in our prayers, please bring him into yours. We sincerely hope that he will pull through this, which we have full confidence he will.

This song is actually ridiculous. Another banger verse from Wale, and a nice one from skyzoo. Wale’s album will be mind blowing I can tell. Goddamn 5 minutes-Wale Feat Skyzoo
“My name is S-K-Y-Z-O-O, And I’m Wale Folarin was raised on go-go, their style is so so, my Louis from SoHo.”
Solange’s “Fuck The Industry” came out a while ago, but wale just made this track a super banger…He put that radioactive spider on the woman like damn…“Fuck The Industry RMX FT. Wale-Solange”.
“My Rep is impeccable like a woman with mono…”
School Starts Tomorrow, So don’t worry if we are a little late on posts. We didn’t die, just our summers did..

This album is going to be fuckin’ ridiculous. On some Wale shit, this nigga needs to drop “Young” and just become Jeezy. This is now a man

Wale is a well known name on this site, however Kid Cudi is not. I’ve listened to him before, and he isn’t one of my favorites. But he is good, he sings and raps. This track is sorta weak until Wale comes on, he livens it up a bit. Take a listen.

Mickey factz always gets a spot on this page once in a while. So here is this new track “Incredible”. The chorus isn’t to great, but the verses are pretty tight. Peep the line(s) about america, pretty damn mean.
By the way: He shouts out half of the rappers alive in the chorus.

Wale, instead of freestyling to a millie, as dozens have recently. He took one of my favorite songs from C3 “Mr. Carter” and dropped a freestyle right quick! Pretty damn good.
“I’m tryin to be like shawn carter, not kijana…Not Kijana carter…Look him up on Wikipedia”
