On Monday Michelle Obama spoke to the Democrats of America, about her raising, her life, and her relationship with our next president:Barack Obama.  A moving speech that spoke to Barack’s determination, responsibility, and ability to lead.  For the first major speech of the 2008 DNC, and her first national speech she did a good job.  She also has the appeal of a first lady, reminiscent of Jackie Kennedy.

Tuesday Night: Hillary Clinton is the main speech of the day.  The big question is will she attempt to unite the party for Barack, or support her own bid and run a roll call vote?  She definitively answered the question with her speech.  She made it clear of her support in the early parts of her address, and then moved on to herself and her voters.  Just when she began to lean towards “self-hype” she drew the crowd to a chant of “Keep Going” for Obama.  On the 88th anniversary of Women’s voting rights she touched on the future possibilities of women in this country, after her historical performance.  However, her jabs at McCain such as: We will not have “4 more years, of the past 8 years”.  hopefully this was enought to grab a few votes for Barack.

“We The People, Not We The Favored Few…”
