Two Big Tours Rolling Around by DLOOS

Gym Class Heroes are a band I see written about a lot on Hypekillaz
and currently they are touring with the most random band I can think of, The Roots. How these two bands ended up touring together is way beyond me, but they are both notorious for putting on great live shows. They will be rolling around the City on October 28th, a Tuesday, at the Roseland Ballroom, tickets are running about $50. But if you really want a GREAT experience, and are willing to go on a long car ride for it they are playing on Halloween at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, which is conveniently on a Friday this year and tickets are $5-10 dollars cheaper.

The other big tour is Wu-Tang veteran, Method Man, touring with his local Brick City protege, Redman. The two recently performed as a single act at Rock The Bells in June and July and are now touring as a duo separately as well. They will be playing Nokia Theater Times Square on Friday, October 17 which I would strongly recommend purchasing tickets to. This venue is small so there is no way you won’t be close to the stage, as well being the best acoustically designed venue in the city I have seen a show at yet, meaning it will sound the best. Tickets are cheaper than The Roots at only $40.

Some Goodies:

Method Man and Redman : Blackout!

Some Gym Class Heroes CD

The Roots : Rising Down
